XITE è la nuova porta ideata, dall’ Architetto Roberto Santi e dal team Eban4.0, per la GD Dorigo (www.gd-dorigo.com)
L’idea nasce dalla volontá di progettare una porta a filo muro, foderata da entrambi i lati con una lamiera acidata in alluminio o in ottone e capace di scomparire quando inserita in una boiserie dello stesso materiale.
L’Architetto Roberto Santi nel 2006 comincia ad appassionarsi ed a sperimentare nuove tecniche di lavorazione dell’alluminio, legate al mondo dell’arte e dell’incisione. La sua grande idea é stata quella di utilizzare queste tecniche applicandole all’arredamento. Nasce cosí nel 2007 la prima collezione di autoproduzioni.
Nel 2015 incontra Raffaele e Roberto Bernardi con i quali decide di portare avanti questo suo ambizioso progetto e di creare il team Eban4.0. Grazie alla loro esperienza, questa tecnica viene perfezionata ed insieme cominciano a disegnare e realizzare una nuova collezione di arredi unici ed esclusivi. Arredi in legno interamente foderati con le lamiera acidate.
Nel 2016, durante un incontro con la GD Dorigo, nasce l’idea di creare una nuova porta che utilizzasse lo stesso principio. Nasce cosí XITE una porta in legno foderata in metallo.
XITE it’s a new door designed by the architect Roberto Santi and the EBAN4.0 team. Inspiration for the idea was a desire to design a flush fitting door, lined on boths sides with an etched aluminium sheet that can dissapear when fitted into a boiserie of the same matirial. The process deliberately creates two different surfaces, splashed and fiber, the result of experiments with new ways to process aluminium, draws from the world of art and engraving.
In 2006 due to this experience he started to self-produce unique pieces, which are considered on the border between art and design.
In 2015 he meets Raffaele and Roberto Bernardi with whom decides to create the Eban4.0 team. Thanks to their experience, the technique gets improved and together they start working on a new wood collection lined with metal sheets.
In 2016, during a meeting with GD Dorigo, they decide to create a new special door called XITE completely inspired in this idea.
